Item arrived to me (Moscow, Russia) in 15 days as part of big consolidated package. Cable works great on Linux (kernel v5.4.0) I tested it on my very old HDD: read speed is 11 MB/s, write speed is 85 MB/s. Read and write speed tests use linear uncached I/O access. Achieved speed confirms this is a real USB3.0gen1 converter. If it were USB2.0, I would only get 40 MB/s max. I am attaching a part of `dmesg -w` output, it might help fellow Linux users.
