the 2 in 1 device fits well in the macbook ari, and this makes a stable connection. problem however remains now, how to charge the macbook air. this wont work via the USB 3.1 connector as far as I have tested it now. regularly the macboom is charged with two different voltages. it might be possible to only charge with 5 V, but this wasnot working in my case the USB connector works well, so for axcemple connection to a hub with different possible connections like a keyboard, a mouse or an external HD
